YOTA Masters Swim Updates

A Few YOTA Masters Swim Group Updates:

1). NO MORNING PRACTICE FRIDAY (MAY 18th)
There will not be a 6:30a-7:30a workout on Friday, May 18th this week.

However, our Noon, “Lunch Time” (11:30a – 12:30p) workout is still on as regularly scheduled. We will plan on seeing you at the Noon workout if you plan on swimming Friday.

Apologies for the late notice.

2). 2012 Summer Practice Schedule
Our “Summer” (Mid-June through Late July) practice schedule will be sent out very shortly. This Summer there is not any major changes. Tentatively, the only change that will occur is all early morning workouts will be 6:30a-7:30a (instead of the normal Tues/Thurs 7:00a-8:00a workout)… Again, once it is finalized and signed off on, we will send it out!

3). Summer Dryland Workouts
Coach Nick and Jack will be developing a “dryland” routine for the YOTA Masters Swim Team. We will have several workouts this Summer where during practice the group will go into the OPC Dryland Training Room and go over numerous exercises that benefit each of the four strokes and will complement our training. We will focus on technique, proper number of reps and how to properly integrate them into a swimming routine. Stay Tuned for more information on which days we will hold our Dryland workouts!
